T.A.O. Bangkok Corporation held a “Leadership Development” training course for the management team and all employees in the organization. The participants were provided with tools and strategies to help work more effectively and efficiently and did workshops together. During the training information on thinking processes and positive communication techniques were provided to help increase cooperation and understanding; as well as reduce conflicts and misinterpretation. The concepts are also an important basis for harmonious living and can also be used by the participants in their personal lives.

We were honored to have Mr. Naris Maneekhao, as a lecturer. The trainings were separated into 3 groups. The first group was trained on 25-26 April 201 9. The second on 2-3 May 201 9 and the last group trained on 20-21 June 201 9, so that all employees could all join.

UNAXOL Low Volatile Organic Content (TVOC) Water-based Wood Lacquer was chosen as one of the products used in Magnolias Waterfront Residence Project at Icon Siam.

UNAXOL was used to coat all wooden window and door frames in the ultra-luxury residential condominium building, next to the Chao Phraya River. There are 70 floors, consists of 379 luxury residences in the building.

Deco Enterprise Company Limited as the contractor, selected high quality products,which focused on safety for the residents as well as being environmentally friendly. In addition, the woods used were FSC certified which came from responsibly managed forests.

Marabu North America and Neenah Coldenhove, our business partners, displayed the products about Liquid Laminates and the Digital Sublimation Technology, respectively, at Asia Print Expo 2019, organized by FESPA. This event is the ASEAN region’s leading event for printing and signage industries representing the latest innovations in the large format digital printing, textile printing, screen printing, garment decoration, and etc.

At Marabu North America’s booth – USA, the demo of liquid lamination with ClearShield Water-based Liquid Coatings on StarLam 1600R Liquid Laminator has been displayed to see how it could help protect your prints against chemicals, abrasion, and dirt pick up with more environmentally friendly and cost-efficiency.

At Neenah Coldenhove’s booth - The Netherlands, the high-quality Digital Sublimation Transfer Papers were brought to show at the event. They both have such good responses and feedback at the show.

Besides the latest innovations and printing technology, there were other interesting features as the seminar sessions that delivered inspirational and innovation content from the world leading industry speakers and “World Wrap Masters Asia” - a live wrapping competition alongside the expo.

Asia Print Expo was held at BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand during 21-23 February 2019.

T.A.O. Bangkok Corporation Ltd commonly celebrates the new coming year with the volunteer activities to create awareness of sharing and doing volunteers in return to the society for the environment. Due to the increasing amount of plastic waste more and more every day, we initiated “T.A.O. Go Green Challenge” Project to encourage employees to help reduce plastic waste problems and stop using plastic eventually. We would like to prolong this project with the volunteer activity by collecting the garbage at the mangrove forest conservation area, which location is not far from our office.

In the morning T.A.O. Staff and the management team traveled to Mangrove Forest Resources 2 at Bang Ya Praek, Samutsakhon. Started with attending the lecture on the importance of the mangrove forest ecosystem by the staff of the Research center. After the lecture, the employees led by the executives collected the garbage in the mangrove area to help restore the ecosystem of mangrove forests. The mangrove forests are the important natural resources that help prevent erosion of the coast and also the source of aquatic animals. From this activity, T.A.O. could collect totally 658 kilograms of garbage from the mangrove forest.

The party was held in the evening. This is to celebrate and bring the happiness to employees who worked intently all through the year. Under the theme of “Sport’s Night”, all employees were dressed up in various types of athletes. There was a reward for the best costume of all. In addition, there’re more awards for the employees who well participated the company’s activities as the followings:

- 6 winning, 8 runner-up prizes for the outstanding participants from T.A.O. Go Green Challenge Project, and 10 special prizes for the truly hearted-green people

- 6 prizes for the winner and the second runner-up of 5S program (sort, set in order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain of Kaizen). They went to the Marketing Accounting, Administrative, Quality control, Warehouse, and Technical Maintenance Departments, respectively.

The last but not least, which is the Lucky Draw of the year – every single employee would get the prize back home. The grand prize for this year was 40-inch Digital TV and other special prizes such as the grill set with Shabu pot, Rice cooker, Thermos, and etc.

The event was fulfilled with joy and smiles of the executives and staff at Ton Toei Restaurant on 21^st December 2018.
